I agree with you on this, you are far from alone. I'm an over planner for ICE happenings.
I'm sort of OCD about it.
I started keeping enough cash on hand for a tank of gas and a night or two at a motel once when I was on an unplanned cross-country drive of shame home. The idea went into my ICE kit and it's become part of my "Oh fuck" plans.
I also understand something like that isn't able to be made for everyone.
In fact until my current job, my "Oh Fuck" kit just contained clothes and a razor to shave with.
